Growth of high-quality single crystals of the organic superconductors ß-(ET)2I3 and ß-(ET)2IBr2

摘要: Abstract High-quality single crystals of the organic superconductors s-(ET)2I3 and s-(ET)2IBr2 have been prepared by means chemical oxidation bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene (ET). The influences solvent, type quantity oxidant, ET concentration, reaction solution cooling rate on yield phase composition products, as well morphology conductivity studied. obtained are most perfect among superconductors, with residual resistance ratio R 4.2 K /R 300 ⋍ 2.5 × 10 −4 , superconduction transition temperature Tc = 2.8 width ΔTc 0.1 K.
