摘要: We investigated the effects of statin on lipoproteins, vasomotor function, serologic markers infl ammation, plaque stability, thrombogenicity, and mechanism regulation compared with Step I Diet. Sixty-three patients angiographically documented coronary artery disease were enrolled in this study. All Canadian Cardiovascular Society class or II. taught placed American Heart Association Diet throughout study period. Data baseline characteristics participants brachial endothelium-dependent reactivity, as well lipoprotein levels, stability blood have been reported previously are listed Tables 1 2. The 2 groups age- gender-matched. Mean age was 62 years, 13 32 men. risk factors hypertension (68% vs 72%; diet placebo group simvastatin group, respectively), diabetes (23% 25%), current smoking (35% 31%). proportion medications -adrenergic blockers (81% 81%), calcium channel (48% 47%), angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors 28%), long-acting nitrates 84%), aspirin (84% 88%). administered (n 31) 20 mg/day 32) a randomized order for 14 weeks using singleblind prospective design. approved by Gil Hospital Institutional Review Board, all gave written informed consent.
