摘要: In considering the indirect exchange interaction between magnetic ions in a semiconductor with interacting bands, authors show that there exist two competing components. For pair of interband excitations give rise to ferromagnetic interaction, and for non-interacting bands contribution is antiferromagnetic. They illustrate this examples, one involving s-p other p-d bands.
