摘要: This essay tests the claims made by some versions of convergence culture to be next step forward for Cultural Studies. It does this examining teaching programmes that have been generated various formations culture: in new media studies, creative industries and digital studies. The results examination are cause concern: most these appear surrendered space won Studies university curriculum favour an instrumentalist focus on training, rather than education, personnel work emerging industries. argues therefore while such developments may represent themselves as from within Studies, practice they turned out very little do with at all.
