摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter explains how in vitro techniques can contribute obtaining improved planting stock. Great strides have been made improving herbaceous agricultural crops by procedures. Cloning is also important because increasingly it proving to be a method that cheaper and faster than the traditional methods of cloning. Clonal propagation present problems should considered before decided whether go clonal or sexual route tree improvement programs. The main cloning are grafting rooting cuttings. Grafted clones almost always propagated their mature form, which has advantage flowering fruit set shortly after grafting. Most tissue cultures carried out on basal media similar those used for crops.
