摘要: In this work, the use of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for citalolpram as anti-depressant drug was studied. Imprinted were prepared from methacrylic acid (MAA; functional monomer), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA; cross-linker), and citalopram (as a template) using bulk polymerization method. The polymeric devices further characterized by FT-IR, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, binding experiments. dissolution media employed in controlled release studies hydrochloric at pH level 4.3 phosphate buffers, levels 7.2 10.1, maintained 37.0 25.0 ± 0.5°C. Results showed ability MIP to control citalopram. all cases, higher affinity slower rate than nonimprinted polymers. At temperature 25°C, polymer occurred.
