Claim Analysis of Construction Projects in Oman

摘要: Claims are one of the problems that  construction project may face. might cause many affects such as payment delay, extension time and work suspension. This paper aims to highlight claims in construction industry Oman factors affecting these claims, a result boom, get bigger attention due high effect on main elements management. Field study has been conducted collect data required claim concern. Data were collected through collecting form designed for this purpose, was 45 projects with specific criteria. According analyzed data, it’s shown average is 2.6 per project, most are: effect, solved negotiation manner, occurred lump sum contracts. Owners first party "as sources claims" 42% research sample over other like consultants, contractor contract documents.
