摘要: Abstract There are five datasets which can be used to verify models of the Earth—Moon tidal evolution. Those are: (1) geological evidence age earth and lunar rocks; (2) paleontological sedimentological data growth increments in marine invertebrate fossils, stromatolite patterns cyclically laminated, thin-bedded sediments; (3) astronomical secular orbit motion acceleration; (4) laser ranging satellite tracking data; (5) estimates energy dissipation derived from global paleotide models. It is shown that evolution come into conflict with one or other dataset if they do not take account fluctuating effects continental drift their associated changes resonance properties ocean on timescales. The simplest all possible ways out parameterize response tide-generating force by a multi-mode approximation time-dependent frequencies modes assume lifetime much shorter than duration cycle consolidation—disintegration continents.
