摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for processing one or more data communication operations such that the per-operation overhead decreases as number of to process increases. Operations are inserted into work queues (e.g., transmit/receive) by a hardware adapter controller. As an operation completes, completion queue entry is generated queues. To receive notifications, identifier written enable/notification settings, which reset once notification generated. The status Status interrupts may be limited being enabled only when all outstanding entries in have been processed. A indicates previous control entries. Subsequent resource information buffered until current processed from queue.
