Aortic regurgitation and aortic valve cusp deformity in ventricular septal defect in India

摘要: A prospective study of 50 consecutive cases ventricular septal defects (VSD) by aortic root cine angiocardiography in two projections is reported. Aortic valve cusp deformity (AVCD) was found 43 (86%). The AVCD involved the non-coronary (NCC) alone 50%, right coronary (RCC) and NCC 14%, RCC 18% left (LCC) 4% cases. Relating to type VSD, four five with supracristal VSD 37 45 infracristal had AVCD. regurgitation (AR) 34% cases, as compared 14.5% an earlier retrospective 350 VSD. AR mild 24%, moderate 8% severe 2% jet ventricle (LV) 22% both (RV) LV 12% cases; ten (20%) plus (8%), (4%) LCC no patients. All patients except one does not appear influence development pulmonary hypertension, 34 (68%) normal artery (PA) pressure, including patient AR.
