摘要: Abstract In a shallow coastal area such as the Belgian waters, quite large amount of suspended matter reaches bottom where part it is mobilized and released into overlying water. Heterotrophic bacterial degradation POM (Particulate Organic Matter), which essentially limited to first centimeters sediments, process responsible for that mobilization. The presence or absence dissolved iron manganese depends on redox state, anoxic oxic, respectively, sediment. behaviour strontium in seems be almost independent well conditions. percentages excess Cu, Zn Cd remobilized during transition from sediments are very high (100, 80 70% respectively) type sediment, suggesting their carrier. Pb more reluctant mobilization shows higher percentage dissolution Fe Mn phases also releases significant solid content. Epibenthic fluxes Cd, have been estimated two different ways : (1) by considering similar between metal remobilisation rates known (2) using vertical pore water data profiles. Both estimates agree fairly but they differ significantly Pb.
