摘要: Synthetic lipid bilayers have similar properties as cell membranes and been shown to be of great use in the development novel biomimicry devices. In this study, bilayer formation on mesoporous silica varying pore size, 2, 4, 6 nm, has investigated using quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D), fluorescent recovery after photo bleaching (FRAP), atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results show that pore-spanning were successfully formed regardless size. However, mechanism was dependent lower surface coverages adsorbed vesicles required having smallest pores. A trend observed for lateral diffusion coefficient (D) fluorescently labeled molecules membrane, which lowest pores increased All size observations are suggested due hydrophilicity surface, decreases
