摘要: It is becoming increasingly recognized that early-life nutritional, metabolic and environmental factors can have a long-term impact on the early onset of obesity, type 2 diabetes cardiovascular diseases. Numerous experimental epidemiological observations support concept an individual's response to their adult lifestyle nutritional environment depends not only genetic susceptibility but also previous experiences. The current research challenge determine primary pathways contributing 'non- or epi-genetic' causes excess weight gain adiposity. Evidence from fields epidemiology, life course modelling diet-induced foetal programming all role for FTO gene in this complex biological interaction. may provide missing link developmental regulation energy metabolism. Our review therefore considers determination body weight, composition balance. We will summarize knowledge biology combining human molecular models findings animal studies. Notably, we focus balance humans, importance polymorphisms childhood growth nutrition. Ultimately, propose new hypothesis future designed understand setting expression metabolically active tissues.
