摘要: Although it has long been known that the glass transition temperature (T g ) of nylons changes significantly with moisture content, literature to date lacked reliable measurements this type, primarily due in during T scanning experiments. Introduction new dynamic DSC technique allowed us quantify dependence on % relative humidity for nylon 6 and 66. By eliminating possibility pickup, we have able separate effect crystallinity as well orientation 6. The methodology described here should be applicable other sensitive polymers well, e.g., poly(vinyl alcohol)
