摘要: The tissue levels of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in endomyocardial biopsy samples and blood from 43 patients with cardiomyopathy were determined by steps extraction, purification, HPLC. obtained the after a routine heart catheterization. Six class I, 18 II, 11 III, 8 IV (classified according to guidelines New York Heart Association). True control biopsies healthy hearts are not available for ethical reasons, but data four classes severity disease may be justifiably compared. Patients had lower (P less than 0.01) CoQ10 those I. III 0.0001) level I II. Biopsy five treatment 2-8 months. increases ranged 20% 85%; mean value was higher 0.02) before treatment. Blood deficiencies also increase disease, as markedly biopsies. These reveal myocardial deficiency CoQ10, which is increasing reduced therapy. This biochemistry correlates effective CoQ10.
