摘要: [1] The problem of two-dimensional, homogeneous, elliptical irregularities in an otherwise homogeneous plasma with anisotropic conductivity is considered. We find analytic solution for the potential inside and outside irregularities. In special case circular irregularities, internal electric field reduced from background both depletions enhancements. The rotated different directions depletion enhancements, however. When irregularity elongated, can be larger or smaller than depending on attack angle field. effects ion inertia further suppress small-scale These electrodynamics considerations may help explain some aspects radar observations excited by Farley-Buneman waves instabilities electrojets, particular, their tendency to exhibit Doppler shifts significantly line-of-sight electron convection speed proportional cosine flow angle. analysis generalizes that St.-Maurice Hamza (2001), who introduced this avenue investigation.
