The effects of molecular collisions between the mobile phase and the solute in gas–solid chromatography

摘要: In chromatographic processes, molecular collisions between the mobile phase and solute result in transfer of kinetic energy. Based on these interactions, relationship gauge pressure carrier gas at column inlet partition frequency is derived; consequently, temperature can be obtained. These relationships have been experimentally validated. The change peak shape described herein has successfully explained using this relationship: was calculated from theoretical plate number a tailing peak. We propose new mechanism for theory, which states that as plates increases, symmetry increases.
