摘要: Animal breeding and management of organic wastes pose a serious problem to the health livestock workers, as well nearby residents. The aim present study was determine mechanisms toxicity selected common odorous compounds from poultry manure, including ammonia, dimethylamine (DMA), trimethylamine (TMA), butyric acid, phenol, indole. We measured their genotoxic cytotoxic activity in model chicken cell line (LMH), vitro, by comet assay lactate dehydrogenase assay, respectively. also made microscopic observations any morphological changes these cells DAPI staining. Four compounds, namely DMA, TMA, acid increased DNA damage dose-dependent manner (p < 0.05), reaching genotoxicity high 73.2 ± 1.9%. Phenol indole induced extensive independent concentration used. Ammonia, TMA caused release 0.05). IC50 values were 0.02%, 0.05%, 0.1% for ammonia These nuclear changes, such chromatin condensation, shrinkage, fragmentation (apoptotic bodies), lysis. Our exhibited damaging effects chick LMH line.
