Review of the Clinical Guidelines for Staghorn Calculi

摘要: Reviewing the clinical guidelines for staghorn calculi of American Urological Association (AUA), European Urology (EAU), and literature appearing after their survey, are proposed Japanese (JUA). A patient newly diagnosed with needs to be fully informed about active treatment modalities, including efficacy adverse events. Standard patients must introduced a specialist, because they will receive treatment. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL), followed by extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) or repeat percutaneous procedure, should recommended as first-line modality standard calculi. Open surgery is indicated limited number patients.
