The first report of Bacillus pumilus influence against Meloidogyne javanica in Iran

摘要: In this study two Bacillus pumilus including ToIrFTKC806241 and ToIrMA-KC806242 were obtained from tomato fields characterized based on phenotypic molecular properties. Their possibility to reduce root knot disease of caused by Meloidogyne javanica was evaluated. The experiments done in lab under pot conditions. Application the ToIr-MA against M. reduced number galls eggs. Preliminary results indicated that has an ability produce proteolytic enzymes It seems bacterial culture filtrates can suppress egg hatching increase juvenile's mortality, but role these metabolites suppression needs be investigated. Significant enhancement shoot length (33%) dry weight (64 67%) also recorded over usage strain comparison untreated controls. Additionally, survival strains rhizosphere increases population density seen using colonization assay. To our knowledge, is first time such B. with nematicidal activity been reported Iran which may suggest manage change microbial dynamics rhizosphere.
