摘要: Object-based video coding requires the transmission of object shape. This shape is sent as a binary /spl alpha/-plane. In lossy packet-based networks, such Internet, this information has nonnegligible probability not arriving at receiver, and hence its loss needs to be concealed. paper we propose concealment technique utilizing Hermite splines. The algorithm following steps: (I) received boundary detected lost parts are grouped using packet pattern. (II) for each these parts, points that border area collected. These then modelled by second order spline. model subsequently used match velocity along with concealing cubic (Ill) since in most cases there more than one splines draw every spline combination does result an intersection keep all possible results until end. (IV) if solutions select overall closed nonintersecting fill interior get concealed Experimental which demonstrate compare performance proposed method given end paper.
