摘要: I review the utility of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) for assessing changes in body composition and content distribution water critically ill patients. Published studies suggest that resistance measurements provide a reasonable estimate total but precision is poor. Presently, BIA does not appear to be useful clinical technique measuring composition. Despite limitations current technology, efficacy merit evaluation large, longitudinal if out understanding meaning electrical properties improve.
