摘要: Abstract In order for DNA vaccines to become a practical alternative conventional their ability induce antibody responses in large mammals needs be improved. We used vaccination against rabies the horse as model test potential of two different strategies enhance mammalian species. The administration vaccine presence aluminum phosphate improved both onset and intensity serological but was not potent enough achieve seroconversion all vaccinated ponies. However, when formulated with cationic lipid DMRIE–DOPE instead phosphate, very strong impact on observed. This latter strategy ensured excellent ponies after primary course injections, demonstrating clear improvement homogeneity induced responses. These data indicate that is feasible horses further suggests properly can generate immune veterinary species at level comparable achieved vaccines.
