摘要: This review highlights numerous and wide ranging biophysical biochemical applications of scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). SECM instrumentation theoretical modelling, necessary for experimental interpretation, are outlined, followed by a detailed discussion the diverse this technique. These include measurement flow through membranes, determination kinetic parameters reactions, investigation permeability small molecules in tissues monitoring biological processes, such as production oxygen or nitric oxide cells. The significant impact micro-electrochemical techniques on our understanding basic physicochemical processes at biologically relevant interfaces is also considered. Studies reviewed transport across within bilayers monolayers. Recent advances combination with other techniques, atomic force optical microscopy. developments highlighted, along prospects future.
