Chlorpromazine in chronic schizophrenia: behavioral dose-response relationships.

摘要: Fixed daily doses of chlorpromazine (CPZ), in the amounts 150, 300, and 600 mg were administered orally to chronic schizophrenic inpatients for 24 weeks while psychiatric ward behavioral responses monitored at regular intervals. It was found that within dose range used response could be shown related, particularly early course treatment (4–12 weeks). CPZ amount 150 nig/day an effective relative placebo, but generally less than 300 or mg/day.
