摘要: Abstract The growth of industries and population is accompanied by the introduction emerging chemical pollutants such as pharmaceutical compounds into natural water sources. purification these essential to protect environment promote community health. present study aims investigate removal acetaminophen (ACT), one most widely used compounds, oxygen demand (COD) through a completely environmentally friendly biological method, namely cyclic reactor (CBR). This process performed using high-load synthetic wastewater on laboratory scale. During effect cycle time, hydraulic retention time (HRT), ACT COD concentration, temperature performance are inspected. Finally, performances two CBR sequencing batch (SBR) compared. Financial analysis, analysis variance (ANOVA), nonlinear regression applied influence concentration performance. Two cubic models have been developed for efficiencies design expert software. utilized calculate optimum operating conditions. At 18-h 500 mg/L 7600 concentrations, show 98 % 95 COD, respectively. Results showed that an economically proper treat various types wastewaters thanks its low-space occupation, easy operation, low-energy consumption, and, high efficiency. It can also be upgrade old treatment plants in future.
