摘要: We evaluated allelopathic interactions between strains of Cyanobacteria and green algae isolated from south central Florida. Allelopathy, including inhibition or stimulation growth, was assessed by cocultivation each the strains, as well evaluation extracts prepared isolates. All Cyanobacteria, four six isolates algae, showed some activity (i.e. growth other strains). Of these, most pronounced observed for cyanobacterial isolate Fischerella sp. strain 52-1. In experiments this cyanobacterium inhibited all tested Cyanobacteria. The crude lipophilic 52-1 both biomass culture liquid photosynthesis alga Chlamydomonas in a concentration- time-dependent manner caused extensive loss ultrastructural cell organization. Preliminary chemical characterization compounds extracted indicated presence indole alkaloids, further has confirmed that these belong to hapalindoles previously species related genera. Further compounds, investigation their apparent role allelopathy is ongoing.
