摘要: The failure of traditional upper airway surgery such as uvulopalatopharyngoplasty has been attributed to lower obstruction related base tongue collapse. Multiple procedures, including glossectomy, radiofrequency, genioglossus advancement, and suspension techniques, have advocated improve success rates. No consensus exists on which subsets patients are best treated by individual approaches direct comparative data lacking. selection procedures must be based patient needs the relative potential benefits risks.
