摘要: An ICP-MS method for quantitative analysis of ultratrace elements rare earths in minerals has been developed. Samples are analyzed directly following an acid digestion, without the need separation or preconcentration, with limits detection, precision, and accuracy better than that seen inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry instrumental neutron activation analysis. Examples reported semiquantitative rock samples. Results show ICP-mass provides enormous potential analysis, because its increased capability discriminating among elemental species.
