摘要: This study aimed to clarify the effectiveness of post-operative oral care, including tooth brushing, denture cleaning and tongue cleaning, after digestive tract surgery. Subjects included 30 elderly patients aged 60-98 years (74.9 +/- 7.8 years) who underwent were randomly divided into an intervention group a control group. In group, following care was provided daily over 5-min period in morning starting at baseline (day surgery) continued for 5 days: gargling with povidone iodine, using special brush brush. subjects only gargled iodine.
