摘要: Instrumentation measuring multiple optical properties of individual cells at very rapid rates can be used to differentially classify some biological cells. It may feasible apply these instruments in automating clinical laboratory procedures involving examinations cellular specimens. Depending upon the type examination desired, could identify normal specimens, mark or separate any abnormal a specimen, count predetermined cell types, and possibly provide new ways characterizing classifying The requirements, physical limitations, advantages, disadvantages various techniques are discussed. An instrument devised by us measure spectrophotometric flowing liquid suspension is described, examples shown how data obtained analysed displayed an on-line computer.
