Spectrophotometric determination of drugs with iodine

摘要: Spectrophotometric method is described for the determination of drugs through charge transfer complex formation with iodine acceptor. This based upon molecular interaction between and to form complexes in which acts as a sigma acceptor ( �). Iodine was found 1:1 stoichiometry all selected study. Colored products were quantified spectrophotometrically by using absorption bands. Thermodynamic parameters spectral characteristics these have been evaluated. A complete detailed investigation formed made respect its composition, constant free energy change. Electronic bands are shifted towards shorter wavelengths along well-known blue shift visible band. The values constants thermodynamic show strong donor-acceptor interaction, helps study possible site donors acceptors also provides tool estimation at both band 512 nm band, sensitive up concentration 10 -3 M.
