摘要: Throughout history, the life sciences have been revolutionised by technological advances; in our era this is manifested advances instrumentation for data generation, and consequently researchers now routinely handle large amounts of heterogeneous digital formats. The simultaneous transitions towards biology as a science 'life cycle' view research pose new challenges. Researchers face bewildering landscape management requirements, recommendations regulations, without necessarily being able to access training or possessing clear understanding practical approaches that can assist their particular domain. Here we provide an overview best practice cycle sciences/bioinformatics space with focus on 'omics' datasets computer-based processing analysis. We discuss different stages suggestions useful tools resources improve practices.
