摘要: In a heavy duty radial tire, metal cords of single layer construction obtained by twisting 3˜5 metallic filaments having filament diameter 0.13˜0.32 mm, each which an elongation P 1 under load 0.25˜5 kgf/cord 0.35˜1.0% as arithmetic mean value are arranged carcass ply so that distance between at end the is not less than 0.25 mm. Thus, it possible to largely reduce tire weight, avoid problems on operability such bead rising and like, considerably improve fracture resistance, corrosion fatigue resistance fretting well external damage in sidewall (resistance cord breaking up) tire. Furthermore, above performances can be further enhanced when tensile strength TS d satisfy particular relation index according ISO 4209/1 more 121 or 122.
