Attending and avoiding dental appointments: Do “bright” and “dark” motivational paths have a role?

摘要: Objective: The aim of this study was to test a self‐determination theory (SDT) process model the “bright” and “dark” motivational pathways through dental attendance or avoidance oral health. Methods: A cross‐sectional conducted among 322 students from all disciplines at University Oslo. Participants responded survey with validated questionnaires. Structural equation modelling used SDT model, bootstrapping procedure indirect links in model.
