摘要: Adult neurogenesis is an exciting and rapidly advancing field of research. It addresses basic biological questions, such as the how why de novo neuronal production during adulthood, well medically relevant issues, including potential link between adult neural stem cells psychiatric disorders, or cell manipulation might be used a strategy for replacement. Current research mainly focuses on rodents, but we review here recent examination non-mammalian vertebrates, which demonstrates that bona fide exist in these species. Importantly, especially teleost fish, can abundant located various brain areas. Hence, vertebrate species provide invaluable comparative material extracting core mechanisms maintenance fate.
