摘要: Summary In the nearly fifty years since adoption of Higher Education Act 1965, financial aid programs have grown in scale, expanded scope, and multiplied form. As a result, has become norm among college enrollees. Aid now flows not only to traditional students but also part-time students, older who never graduated from high school. Today is available low-income middle- even high-income families, form grants, subsidized loans, tax credits. The increasing size complexity nation’s student system generated questions about effectiveness, heightened confusion parents, raised concerns how program rules may interact. this article, Susan Dynarski Judith Scott-Clayton review what known, just as important, well various work.
