摘要: Abstract We report the effects of 300 keV proton irradiations on structural properties thin RE 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7− δ films (RE = rare earth) grown in different orientations ([100], [001], [110]). The are studied by X-ray and electron diffraction measurements. All three lattice parameters orthorhombic structure increase under irradiation loss superconductivity is not directly connected with an to tetragonal phase transition. leads formation a new √2 c ×√2 ×3a ( ≈3.8 A ) superstructure which forms oxygen reordering basal plane unit cell without loss. This thought be strongly correlated observed metal-insulator transition due carrier concentration reduction CuO -planes. Distinct intensity variations indicate atomic displacements cationic sublattices.
