摘要: Introduction The incidence of tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) has increased in recent decades. However, the function long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) CASC9 occurrence and progression TSCC is unclear. In this work, we attempted to clarify role lncRNA determining phenotype cells, underlying mechanisms. Methods We used qRT-PCR analysis identify level mRNA expression clinical samples lines. investigated proliferation, migration invasion cells transfected with siCASC9 or siNC using CCK-8 transwell assays. Bioinformatics a luciferase reporter assay were employed predict verify target microRNA (miRNA). Results was up-regulated tissues predicted poor prognosis. silencing significantly inhibited migration, compared non-targeting control small interfering (siCtrl) treatment. miR-423-5p as targeting miRNA CASC9; verified by assay. showed negative correlation positive SOX12 expression. inhibitor can rescue carcinogenesis effect on cells. Conclusion Our work indicates that plays tumorigenesis; novel information will improve molecular therapy.
