摘要: There is a lack of research focusing on the association temperature with mortality and hospitalization in developing countries tropical climates low capacity to cope influences extreme weather events. This study aimed examine compare effect temperature, including heat waves, most populous city Vietnam. We used quasi-Poisson time series regression coupled distributed lag non-linear model (DLNM) overall pattern temperature-health outcome relationship. The main added effects waves were evaluated. significantly increased risk all cause-specific mortality. Significant observed only for elderly people respiratory diseases (elderly, relative (RR) = 1.28, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.14–3.45; diseases, RR 1.3, CI 1.19–1.42). RRs substantially higher than those mortality; same was applicable hospitalizations people. findings this have important implications public health adaptation prevention program implementation protection residents from adverse temperature.
