摘要: Objective To determine the perceived effectiveness of surgical subspecialty training programs in teaching and assessing 6 ACGME core competencies including research. Design Cross-sectional survey. Setting approved pediatric urology colorectal surgery. Participants Program Directors recent trainees (2007-2009). Results A total 39 program directors (60%) 57 (64%) responded. Both reported a higher degree mentorship (75%) patient care medical knowledge than other (p Conclusions Not all research are effectively being taught surgery areas outside is lacking. Emphasis should be placed on faculty supervision feedback when designing methods to better incorporate competencies, research, mentorship.
