摘要: Inspired by the photoprotection, radical scavenging of melanin together with versatile adhesive ability mussel proteins, polydopamine (PDA) nanoparticles were successfully prepared and incorporated into environmentally friendly polymer, poly(propylene carbonate) (PPC) via solvent blending. The composites exhibited excellent thermal stability in air nitrogen atmosphere extraordinary mechanical properties. displayed eminent increase temperature at 5% weight loss (T 5%) 30–100 K 0.3 wt%–2.0 wt% loadings, meanwhile, tensile strength Young’s modulus significantly improved from 11.5 MPa 553.7 to 40.5 2411.2 MPa, respectively. kinetic calculation indicated that improvement T is presumably derived suppressing chain-end unzipping. glass transition g) PPC/PDA increased 8–10 K. This probably due hydrogen bonding interaction since abundant proton donors along PDA chains would interact acceptors like C=O C-O-C PPC which cause restriction segmental motion chains.
