摘要: Abstract The running-in behaviour of a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating deposited on M42 tool steel substrate has been investigated ball-on-disk wear rig in dry air. During sliding, classical curve with transition rate from high initial to low sliding was observed. Variations friction coefficient distance were not related this rate. A transfer film rapidly developed the uncoated ball surface and negligible.
