摘要: Abstract The use of Cre recombinase for conditional targeting permits the controlled removal or activation genes in specific tissues and at times development. Rho–Cre mice provide an improved tool studying gene ablation rod photoreceptor cells. To establish a robust expression transgenic that would be useful study various protein functions cells, total 11,987 kb fragment (pNCHS4 Rho–NLS–cre) containing human rhodopsin promoter was cloned. plasmid digested with EcoR1 I Ceu-1, 9.316 kb hRho gel purified. generate mice, purified DNA injected into fertilized oocytes according to standard protocols. ROSA26R reported steady especially allowing further excising proteins photoreceptors across retina. This line should thus prove as general deletor genetic analysis diverse aspects retinopathy.
