摘要: Summary Medical education in Germany has undergone significant changes. The current article attempts to give an overview of final year medical and implications for further developments. Challenges mainly arise from the lack clearly defined learning objectives, provision structure, independent patient management professional guidance supervision. abolition one-and-a-half-year period pre-registration training 2004 changes structure state examinations line with amendment licensing regulations 2002, meant pressure on efficiency one hand, additional burden students other. In this article, a broad variety innovative models that have been implemented at different faculties, which address students’ needs, will be reported. Further challenges, such as integration general medicine rotations, abolishment second examination its present form, individual career plans discussed.
