摘要: An optimal procedure for designing co-ordinated controllers of power system stabiliser and flexible ac transmission devices is developed achieving enhancing small-disturbance stability in multi-machine systems. A constrained optimisation approach applied minimising an objective function formed from selected eigenvalues the systems state matrix. The eigenvalue-eigenvector equations associated with modes form a set equality constraints optimisation. There no need any standard eigenvalue calculation routines, use sparse Jacobian matrix case large forming leads to sparsity formulation. Inequality include those imposing bounds on controller parameters. Constraints which guarantee that are distinct ones derived incorporated control coordination formulation using property eigenvectors linearly independent. robustness achieved very directly through extending sets inequality relation matrices loading conditions and/or network configurations different base case. Simulation results confirm effective enhance stability.
