摘要: Abstract Background: The use of prosthetic biomaterials for the primary repair inguinal hernias is now commonplace. Late-onset deep-seated infection can be an unexpected complication. Methods: literature from a Medline search relating to biology mesh in setting hernia discussed. Conclusions: foreign body does not appear alter incidence superficial wound infection. deep graft has been rarely reported, and true yet established. With more widespread materials, this complication may become increasingly evident.
