摘要: This article reports on research projects conducted primarily by first and second generation Mexican American high school students who document how relationships are shaped Arizona’s racist political discourses. They observations of their experiences then wrote up what they were observing in field notes. Field note data focus discourse shapes climate, especially around speaking Spanish, the treatment student researchers other teachers. We also discuss anti-Latino politics Arizona that began with passage Proposition 203 2000.
