摘要: Abstract Three field studies were conducted to determine the efficacy of a single dose doramectin pour-on in control gastrointestinal nematode infections yearling stocker calves on pasture. These 140-day carried out between October 1995 and March 1996 Tennessee (TN), January June 1997 Louisiana (LA), May September Wisconsin (WI). Calves with patent equally allocated treatments (doramectin pour-on, at 500 μg/kg body weight or untreated control) pastures as randomized complete-block designs (LA TN studies) completely random (WI study). There six pasture replicates per treatment each site, replicate accommodating site (36 treatment), five LA (30 seven WI (42 treatment). Fecal samples for egg counts collected Day 0, 28-day intervals thereafter. Body weights recorded 0 until study termination. Nematode output doramectin-treated groups was reduced over entire grazing period compared those groups, resulting average daily weight-gain advantages 0.055 kg ( p ≤ 0.05) study, 0.208 kg 0.116 kg study.
