摘要: Abstract Seven studies were conducted under field conditions in North America to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of doramectin a pour-on formulation at dosage 500 μg/kg (1 ml/10 kg) for cattle harboring naturally-acquired infections gastrointestinal nematodes, including species Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Bunostomum, Cooperia, and Oesophagostomum. In each study, 40 100 randomly allocated saline- or doramectin-treated group tiered manner based on Day −7 bodyweight. On 0, received either saline topically, according their treatment group. Weather safety observations made following treatment. No adverse reaction was observed any time during these studies. Fecal egg count (FEC) determinations carried out animal Days −7, 7, 14, 21. Reductions FEC animals compared saline-treated ≥96.0% by ≥99.0% 14 21 study. Across all regardless weather conditions, reduction controls 99.7% (p≤0.0001) pretreatment levels 99.9% (p≤0.0001). Doramectin should provide useful new controlling nematode parasites cattle.
